Stacey Solomon: X Factor Queen
During the sixth week of X Factor, as the only female left in the race, Stacey Solomon remained victorious for another week with her stunning performance of Queen’s power ballad, Who Wants to Live Forever.
From behind-the-scenes, as the show’s chief Make-Up Artist, Jackie is revealing her insider tips for you to recreate Stacey’s natural, glowing look.
Get the Skin:
To rejuvinate Stacey’s skin and relax her before her big performance, I prepared her skin with a mini facial using some of the Karin Herzog Salon Preparations range, including the Mild Scrub, Glyco Rose Serum, and the Oxygen Face Cream.
I then used Givenchy Subli’mine Sculpt Light foundation, which gives a lovely fresh, dewy look.
Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer was used on Stacey’s cheeks for a sunkissed glow.
I put the finishing touches to Stacey’s glowing skin by applying Karin Herzog Shake & Shine Body Oil across her décolletage.
Get the Eyes:
On Stacey’s eyes I blended together Laura Mercier Sateen Eye Colour in golden ‘Gilt’, shimmery brown ‘Burnished’, and deep aubergine ‘Kir Royale’.
To enhance Stacey’s eyes, I applied Avon Spectralash mascara in Black.
I put the finishing touches to Stacey’s eyes with a couple of Eylure Individual Lashes, you can add as many as you like to intensify your look.
Get the Lips:
For Stacey’s pretty pink lips, I actually used MAC Blushcreme in ‘Brit Wit’. You might think it’s odd to put blusher on lips, but a lot of the cream blush colours work really well on the lips.
We can’t wait to see Stacey’s look this weekend and Jackie will be revealing her tips on how to recreate it at home.
